Heel Divine | alchemyNFT
AlchemyNFT is a series of 24 hybrid physical/digital paintings inspired by medieval imagery related to alchemy. Central themes of alchemy, in contrast to modern science, are the perpetual cycle of transmutation, the purification of physical matter, and a cosmology based on the principle of universal connectedness. Everything in the universe is connected to everything else. The movement of celestial bodies reflects the transformation of earthly materials. The macrocosm is reflected in the microcosm. As above, so below.
The physical paintings have a square format (21 cm x 21 cm) and have been created in 2021 with charcoal and acrylic paint. The digital versions are circular and are NFTs (non-fungible tokens) stored as 1/1 editions on the Tezos blockchain (https://teia.art/suzyjaqnft).
